Article number: | CHA-GIL-CIR-CAN |
A fantastic French round occasional chair with beautiful hand-carved frame and cane seat, originating from France, circa 1820. The silhouette is flirty and playful, featuring curvaceous arms and legs and decorated with scrollwork and flower carvings. The elegance of the giltwood frame is contrasted with the relaxed charm of the natural woven cane seat. Overall, the chair is in great condition for its age, with a subtle crack at the frame, it is nevertheless sturdy and stable. Seat and back are supported by cane, which is tightly woven and wholly intact. Sophisticated in style and on trend.
